Are having trouble remembering your complex passwords or find yourself re-using the same or very similar passwords and passphrases over and over? Diceware is a safe system for generatng easy to remember and secure passphrases. See below for Diceware files for offline use.

However, if you’re looking for an online tool, this passphrase generator will help you. But please evaluate for yourself if an online tool is safe for your use. All passphrase generation is carried out locally in your browser, and no information about generated passphrases are sent to this website. This is, however, not to say that your local system is safe, or that no one can’t access your genrated passphrases.

Currently, and for all forseable future, this passphrase generator will only support Norwegian. Please look elsewhere for an English language generator or wordlists.

User discretion advised

The wordlists were randomly created from the Norwegian dictionary. The lists are not filtered and may contain obscene language. The random connection of words might also give obscene combinations. Please use at your own risk, and generate a new passphrase if you’re not happy with the one you got.
